Sorry, been behind on posts again – Life happens, but I have been storing content and am going to try and get that all out over the next couple holiday weekends.  Here’s a start.

Back in September I went down to Austin for Sherwood Forrest Ren Fair’s annual Celtic Celebration weekend.  Musicians, art, and crafts vendors, games, and food and drink come out to celebrate in an out-of-period pair of weekends on the fairgrounds that make a fun day visit if you are in the area.

Being the big geek that I am I of course donned a kilt and set off to explore all the wonders that the Celticfest had to offer.  Along the way I Heard some great Celtic rock from the Blaggards and Before the devil knows you’re dead, and also stumbled across a rare gem of a jewelry shop maned by a wonderfully friendly couple crafting some items so unique and beautiful I had to buy something for my honey.

Mack’s Creations Offers some wonderfully twisted wire and bead art jewelry.  If you run across them stop and look.  His striped Turkish Turquoise was unique and beautiful.  After a difficult decision we went home with this squarestock sterling and round bead bracelet.  Check out some of the other work below, go like their FB page, share the love and get some of their wonderful wares before the get noticed and their demand gets so high they can’t keep up.

I grabbed some shots of their other inventory. Wish I’d have brought more money, these would make great Christmas gifts.  I might still send off for some….
